Lori McCreary



Lori McCreary’s career in the film industry began as co-producer on the critically acclaimed film Bopha!, which first teamed her with Morgan Freeman.

In 1996, the two filmmakers founded Revelations Entertainment with a mission to develop films that enlighten, express heart and glorify the human experience.

As CEO, McCreary is a unique combination of both film producer and computer scientist. Founder of the PGA Motion Picture Technology Committee, she has maintained an ongoing dialogue with filmmakers, talent and executives about emerging media, and remains a trusted advisor to leading technology manufactures as Hollywood transitions into the digital arena.

McCreary currently sits on the Producers Council of the Producers Guild of America as well as on the Technology Committee of the American Society of Cinematographers. In addition, she was profiled by The Hollywood Reporter in their illustrious 100 Most Powerful Women in Hollywood issue.

Just recently, McCreary produced The Maiden Heist starring William H. Macy, Christopher Walken, Freeman and Marcia Gay Harden as well as Mimi Leder’s Thick as Thieves starring Antonio Banderas, Radha Mitchell, and Freeman.

McCreary is currently in South Africa producing The Human Factor, an adaptation of the John Carlin book "Playing The Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game that Made a Nation," which Revelations developed and brought to Clint Eastwood to direct. Matt Damon will star with Freeman in this Warner Brothers release.

Other credits include Lakeshore Entertainment’s The Feast of Love, the Brad Silberling directed 10 Items or Less, Levity, starring Billy Bob Thornton and Kirsten Dunst; Under Suspicion, teaming Freeman, Gene Hackman, Thomas Jane and Monica Bellucci; and Along Came A Spider for Paramount Pictures.
