Mark Gordon

Mark Gordon is an award-winning producer with more than 70 motion picture and television projects to his credit.

Gordon’s most recent projects include 2012, which has grossed over $750 million worldwide and The Messenger, which garnered Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor and Best Original Screenplay. Upcoming projects include The Details with Tobey Maguire and Laura Linney, Duncan Jones’ sci-fi thriller Source Code starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Bill Condon’s Richard Pryor biopic for Sony.

Among Gordon’s other motion picture credits are Saving Private Ryan, The Day After Tomorrow, The Hoax, 10,000 B.C., Talk To Me, The Painted Veil, Casanova, The Patriot and Speed, to name a few.

In television, Gordon serves as executive producer on the ABC series Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice, as well as the CBS drama Criminal Minds and Lifetime’s Army Wives. Gordon has several TV projects in the works, including spin-offs of Criminal Minds and Army Wives, as well as a comedy series at ABC entitled It Takes a Village.

Gordon is a five-time Emmy nominee with two wins. He has been nominated for multiple Golden Globe Awards with two wins. He earned Academy Award and BAFTA nominations and won a Golden Globe for Best Picture as producer of Saving Private Ryan.

Gordon is the current Vice President of the Producers Guild of America and serves on the board of the Virginia Film Festival, The Archer School for Girls, The Jewish Television Network, Chrysalis and The Motion Picture and Television Fund.
