Charles King is Founder & CEO of MACRO. Launched in 2015, MACRO is a newly formed venture that sits at the intersection of content, technology and brand curation. With a focus on creating film, television and digital content for African American, Latino and multicultural consumers (ALM), the company is perfectly positioned to capitalize on the explosive growth in this important market. Formerly, King was Partner/Agent in the Motion Picture Department at William Morris Endeavor (WME). His career as an agent spanned over 15 years, during which he was known for his innovative deal making and his strategy in developing brands for and around his clients. King has been featured in many national media outlets and publications including Essence, Variety, and Los Angeles Times. Fortune magazine has named him as one of the nation’s most influential Latino, Asian or African-Americans and he was included on Ebony magazine’s Power 100 list. King is an active angel investor in synergistic ventures at the nexus between the technology sector and the media content business. A graduate of Vanderbilt University and Howard University’s School of Law, he resides in Los Angeles with his wife Stacey, a fashion designer/executive and their two sons, Noah and Julian.
