Spotlight on Non-Fiction at Produced By: New York.

Spotlight on Non-Fiction at Produced By: New York.

2018 has been a stellar year for non-fiction programming.

Feature documentaries are thriving at the Box Office.

Streaming services, such as Netflix, Amazon and ESPN, are jumping into the unscripted series game.

Non-fiction formats, from game shows to makeover programs, are driving viewership for traditional broadcast entities, both domestically and internationally.

For the 2018 edition of Produced By: New York, we’ve assembled some of the top people in non-fiction programming for an informative ‘Masterclass’ as well as three, intimate ‘Deeper Dive’ sessions.

Here’s a taste of what’s on the schedule:

Documentary Producing Masterclass

This year’s Documentary Producing Masterclass includes producer/collaborator teams from three of the season’s top feature film documentaries, including:

Leading the discussion will be producer Mimi Valdés (Hidden Figures and Roxanne Roxanne).

The Documentary Producing Master Class is open to all Produced By: New York attendees.

Learn more by participating in a ‘Deeper Dive’ session

Starting at 12 Noon on Saturday, attendees have an option to attend one of our five exclusive ‘Deeper Dive’ sessions. These small group sessions allow registered attendees to meet with and question senior-level producers and buyers in an off-the-record, intimate setting.

‘Deeper Dive’ sessions are open to all attendees of Produced By: New York, and include three sessions focusing on non-fiction. Pre-registration is required.
