Producer BRAD FULLER is behind some of today’s most successful genre films. In 2001, he founded Platinum Dunes, along with partners Andrew Form and Michael Bay. To date, their films have grossed over $2.3 billion worldwide.
Most recently, Fuller and Form announced their production company, Fully Formed Entertainment, which will house them at Paramount Studios with a three-year exclusive first-look deal.
Along with Form and Bay, Fuller produced the hugely successful film, A Quiet Place, starring John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. Surpassing opening box-office estimates by over $20 million, the film had the biggest opening weekend ever for an original horror story with a domestic gross of $50 million.
Considering its filmmaking budget of only $17 million and a worldwide gross of over $338 million, A Quiet Place was a giant box office success. The film is the third highest horror opening of all time, just behind It and Paranormal Activity 3 and is already getting awards buzz for being a thrillingly and intelligent original film.
Previous credits under the Platinum Dunes banner have included Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which has grossed over $493 million worldwide, making it the highest grossing film of the franchise; Ouija, which was made for $5 million and brought in more than $103 million worldwide, and The Purge franchise which has grossed over $450 million worldwide.
On the television side, Platinum Dunes has produced the highly successful series including, Black Sails for Starz, The Purge for USA Network and Jack Ryan for Amazon, which premiered in August of this year and has already been picked up for a second season. The series stars John Krasinski and is based on the Tom Clancy-created character.
