Honey Boy, Harriet
Producer DANIELA TAPLIN LUNDBERG is the Founder of Stay Gold Features, a New York based film finance and production company. Launched in 2016, Stay Gold develops and produces elevated, bold content with filmmakers who take risks and subvert expectations.
Lundberg’s next film is Harriet, based on the life of the iconic Underground Railroad conductor and spy, Harriet Tubman. Directed by Kasi Lemmons, the film stars Tony Award winners Cynthia Erivo and Leslie Odom, Jr., Joe Alwyn and Janelle Monae.
Focus Features will distribute the film on November 1, 2019.
Stay Gold’s films include Honey Boy, a semi-autobiographical story written by its leading man Shia LaBeouf and directed by Alma Har’el will be released on November 8, 2019 by Amazon Studios and Good Joe Bell, directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and starring Mark Wahlberg and Connie Britton is in post- production and will be the company’s next release.
Previous films include Patti Cake$ and Under the Silver Lake starring Andrew Garfield.
Prior to launching Stay Gold, Lundberg was a co-founding partner of Red Crown Productions, the banner she established with Daniel Crown and Riva Marker. With Red Crown, she produced Cary Fukunaga’s multi-award nominated Beasts of No Nation.
She also produced Michael Showalter’s Hello, My Name is Doris starring Sally Field.
Lundberg was previously a partner at Plum Pictures where she produced over 20 films, including Gotham Award nominee and Golden Globe Best Picture winner The Kids Are All Right, written and directed by Lisa Cholodenko and starring Julianne Moore, Annette Bening and Mark Ruffalo.
