JOHN KRASINSKI continues to skillfully navigate the entertainment industry as a multifaceted artist, engaging audiences with his scene-stealing roles in film and television, while also challenging himself as a writer and director.
After an incredible start to 2018, Krasinski was chosen as one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People. This follows the successful opening of the critically acclaimed feature film, A Quiet Place, which Krasinski co-wrote, directed and starred in, opposite Emily Blunt.
The film exceeded industry box office expectations making an impressive $50.2 million opening weekend, the #5 horror opening of all time.
A Quiet Place crossed $100 million domestically after just two weeks in theaters.
Krasinski is currently in production on Season 2 of Amazon’s Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, inspired by the novelist’s impressive franchise. Executive produced by showrunner Carlton Cuse and Krasinski, the series follows Clancy’s infamous character as he transitions from a CIA analyst to a dangerous field agent.
Also on the horizon, Krasinski is producing a diverse slate of projects through his production venture, Sunday Night, which he formed with Allyson Seeger.
He also serves as an executive producer on Spike TV’s Lip Sync Battle alongside Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Merchant.
Sunday Night produced and Krasinski directed and starred in The Hollars released by Sony Pictures Classics.
The company is also developing several series under their overall producing deal with Paramount Television.
Krasinski is known for his notable role as ‘Jim Halpert’ in NBC’s Emmy-winning smash hit, The Office, which proved to be one of the most beloved comedies in recent memory during its nine season run.
