Debbie Myers is an Emmy and Peabody award winning producer and media executive. Myers is currently president of DAME, a media consultancy and production company specializing in smart entertainment across all genres and platforms. She is the former GM and EVP of Science Channel at Discovery Communications and previously headed all programming at TLC and ID spearheading such hits as Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman, Little People Big World, Say Yes To The Dress, What Not To Wear, Outrageous Acts of Science, How It’s Made, Punkin Chunkin, Wicked Attraction, Deadly Women, and On the Case with Paula Zahn, Myers has launched television networks and media outlets including E! Entertainment Television, Oxygen, and ID (Investigation Discovery) creating profitable businesses and international television hits. Myers is on the advisory board of Producers Guild of America and a chair of the PBNY (Produced By NY) annual conference. She was included in CableFax Top 100 in 2013 and 2014 as well as the Top 50 Women in Cable 2011, 2012, 2013. She is a guest teacher at both American University and Johns Hopkins University media department.
