The State of Producing

Producing is not for the faint of heart.  Producers have to be ready for those crossroads where the next move (whether for a project or a career) isn’t clear or obvious—that’s when your Producers Guild comes in handy. This conversational session is here to provide answers to your producing questions, regarding anything from industry trends to script development, talent attachments, financing, foreign sales, new platforms or soup-to-nuts production.  As issues of inclusiveness, power imbalance and appropriate professional conduct have recently taken center stage in our profession, speakers may share their personal approaches to these topics and the role that the Producers Guild hopes to play in addressing them.
